For this project, we will have group and individual task.For group task, we need to produce a model of selected with at least 2 type of structural system.Identify the function, material and load distribution of the building. We also need to produce an A4 report include a brief introduction of the building, construction method, modelling process. Besides, for individual,we need to select a detail of building and show the understanding in an A3 size board.
LEARNING OUTCOME:
- Identifications of basic structural systems in construction
- Compare solid and surface construction systems.
- Differentiate solid and surface construction systems in terms of loads and forces acting on structural elements.
- Recognize and apply the implications of construction system in design.
- Analyse the issues of strength, stiffness and stability of structures including modes of structural systems, forces, stress and strain and laws of static.

After this project, i learnt the structural system in a building.Especially for our group selected building, Allianz Arena is about the skeletal structure and surface structure. Besides that, load distribution in a building also a key element in design process.In conclusion, this project trained our model making skill and structural system understanding.
